You can fukk up a french press sometimes ...it's also an artform. The best way to make home brew is to use a dripper..they're cheap and easy to make and the preferred method for great coffee. Then when you start getting into it you can start buying ceramic drippers. Hour Glass viles to drip the the coffee in. And top of the line filters
He mentioned something like this.. He said the dripper will guarantee you pull no less than a 5 out of a scale 1 to 10....
But he also said that you can't get over a 7 with the dripper....... and to get a 10 out of 10 with cappuccino especially, and coffee too, you need to learn how grind, brew, and pull under the right temps....
The only reason I got really interested in this is because he was a snob, and he used to order his beans roasted no more than 2 days before he got them..... The taste of fresh roasted beans vs. gourmet grinds on a Krueger was laughable....... It was like comparing cube steak to a marbled aged ribeye..... (if drunken black of course) but that wasn't the deal sealer for me...... The caffeine buzz on freshly grounded roasted coffee via Aero\French press was
compared to the Krueger...
I only drink black no sugar
