I just turned 44

my knees been bothering me for a couple of years now:francis:

age combined with working a desk job and lack of exercise will do that to you not mentioning I put on a few pounds the last few years:flabbynsick:

I'm the same age, but my knees have never been an issue for me.

My issue was always my back and the damn sciatica, lol.

I had back surgery like 11 years ago. Herniated and bulging discs. That helped a lot, but the sciatica still pops up every now and then. I packed on some weight during the pandemic and then spent like a couple years trying to change up my diet and get back to hooping, running and working out the way I used to. Probably about 10 pounds from where I want to be now, but I can't stay away from the snacks and fast food.

Forgot to mention, if your knee pain is tendon related, low weight eccentric exercises are great for rehabbing and strengthening those type of issues

I forgot to mention I also have back spasms

never had any type of surgery but it must be from sitting in a chair all day for years

my exercise consists of 5 minutes of walking to the subway in the morning and evening where I take the train and sit down for another 25-30 minutes :francis:

@Pazzy search through this dudes youtbe. bunch of videos on fixing knee issues and trying to figure out the root cause

a lot of times its hip weakness causing knees to twist inwards or outwards, or a weak tibialis anterior.

I still deal with those spasms every now and then.

I played ball in high school and college and did the tournaments in the summer, so I've always been active. But when I got a little older, I started chillin' more and wasn't moving around as much as I used to. That's when the back started acting up and the aches came. LOL!!

Some days I wake up and feel like I got beat with bats and crowbars, and all I was doing was sleeping, lol. I bought a Peloton and been trying to get back to being more active. The minute I stop moving, my whole body gets achy and stiff. That's the age creeping in.

It seems like the more Im getting closer to the 40 year mark, my knees and legs are turning against me. :mindblown: apparently my left knee might be out of alignment. :snoop: shyt is hurting like a motherfukker. The right one is too. Ive been trying to shake it off before seeing a doctor which apparently wont be for a minute due to scheduling issues. The doctors expected this to happen to me at some point but damn, Im trying to stay healthy and not on some :flabbynsick: gang sh1t. My back and left shoulder are acting weird too where it feels like my left shoulder is pushing itself into my spine.

How much do you weigh and how tall are you?
