TAKES TEN MINUTES TO ORGANIZE YOUR PACKAGES. SORT BY MC NUMBER AND PUT THE SMALLER NUMBERS IN A EASY TO REACH SPOT.

IF IT TAKES YOU 4 HOURS FOR YOUR BLOCK YOUR PLANNING IS OFF. I'M DONE IN 2HRS SOMETIMES.
Breh I get what he's saying. The first couple weeks I was doing it, shyt was gravy I used get be done with a 3 hour block, in a little over an hour, now they're giving us 50+ packages to be completed in 3 hours....

If it's just a matter of dropping them off at houses then that's cake, and shouldn't take any more than an hour, maybe 2....

But dealing with apartment complexes really slows shyt down, from trying to access the building, to finding the apartment depending on how big it is, to having multiple addresses from different streets. recently it's been taking just about the whole allotted time to complete a block...

METRO DETROIT AREA. I'VE DONE CITY AND RURAL. I'VE DONE ROUTES THAT ARE 45 MINS FROM THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER WITH 60+ PACKAGES IN THE SNOW. I CAN'T IMAGINE DALLAS BEING WORSE.
LA could be :usure:
All the large apartment complexes, add a significant portion of time to routes.

When my routes is just houses I'm done in 60 minutes

I DROP APARTMENT PACKAGES AT THE LEASING OFFICE. I DON'T LIKE LEAVING PACAGES IN HALLWAYS OR IN COMPLEXES. DROP IT AT THE OFFICE AND MAKE THEM SIGN. NOW THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE. THE DELIVERY EMAIL NOTES THE LOCATION WHEN YOU DELIVER.

Not every place has a leasing office. Then the leasing offices try to give you shyt about dropping them off at the apartment first...I just tell them it's in my notes....

:heh: i only did 2-3 times...... it wasn't worth the hassle. my regular job pays me enough :hubie:

they still send me emails. it looks like they may have streamlined the loading process better so you can get your packages and get out quicker, but i doubt you are actually getting $18 an hour. i bet they still give you a ton of packages you can't finish in your delivery window, in areas far away from where you dispatched.

like i said that $18 can turn into $12 very easily.
