I've had it done and still going through it...it's results are amazing!! There's a lot of misinformation on this post...the removal actually works better for darker haired people...blondes can't do it.

Also skip groupon and go for the real thing...the groupons don't last and if you're a person of color most of the groupons do not include the laser we'd need and the results are not long lasting. Ideal Image is a good place to go and you have a life time guarantee. They have 50-60% off specials so try to get in on that.

And...I hope to never meet a hairless man...I'm old skool like that...Not into metrosexual men what so ever!

Did you use Ideal Image? I was recently looking into that company. Do you know what the prices are like?

No and I never would. I let the hair on my body grow naturally.

The only hair that gets cut frequently is the hair the grows on my head and face.

But I got a Brazilian wax done the other day
shyt was painful
But it definitely was worth it
I was exposed and had the Chinese lady holding my shyt the whole time
I got more play doing a wax than a massage
I couldn't deal with waxing my balls
So she just shaved it
SHE SHAVED YO BALLS?! AND WHY WAS SHE GRABBING YO JUNK?! :damn: :damn: :damn:

Hair is natural and has its purposes, why would you permanently stop hair from growing on your body? :mindblown:

I agree... for 90% men. For example, I don't understand how some have strands of hair on their arm, neck, etc and do laser removal.

However, would you rather have a man hairless arms or

MOCO awl day
I used to work in a derm office. From what I remember laser hair removal is better when there is contrast, dark hair and light skin

I used to operate a laser removal center. Laser hair removal is tricky in blacks. Ensure they use an ND YAg laser to avoid burning

Well I aint even black though, I'm beige with dark black hairs lol.

I guess you're the right person to talk to. I remember telling people to use laser and they were like "You know how expensive that is? It's like 500 a session for upper chest alone and you have to go at least 6 times". This was years ago. So I guess there's plenty of businesses of it everywhere so the supply is more than the demand.

I just coincidentally ran up on it and these groupon links right before I made the thread and seen like 130 results in my city alone.

Couple questions.

1. All these offers are like 6 sessions for 200 bucks (ie. full arms, chest and abdomen, etc). After those 6 sessions, will I never grow hair again? Will I grow the same amount I have currently a year later? Will it just reach 50% of what I have now?

2. I keep hearing about laser radiation will lead to health problems in the future (ie. cancer), true?

3. Keeping it 100, I'm contemplating my butt too, yall had men come in for that? How much percent of the customers were men anyways?

4. Since there are so many groupon offers, how can I tell the difference between a good clinic and the substandard ones like you mentioned?

Anything else you believe is helpful let me know

Thanks

Yeah she shaved the balls
I didn't want to wax that
Looked like it would hurt too much

She had to grab my shyt because after every time she would wax an area she had to hold it down with pressure to relieve the pain

ND Yag was the laser that was used on me. Worked pretty well. I had 5 done on my pubic area and arm pits. Very few hairs remain.
