Yeah that's iffy. But as long u not doin no Olympic lifts and straight dropping shyt in the regular so u should be good
I have this comment saved from reddit when I was looking to build a DIY platform maybe it would help u lower noise and reduce load on the floor
"Because I'm ghetto, at one point I built a deadlifting platform with old tires. Wash the tires at one of those pressure-washer car-washes, then bolt them onto the bottom of a sheet of wood that will hold your weights. Then cover it with matting. Spreads the load, absorbs the load, feels fine to lift from. Cost is less than $100 since you can get car tires for free, and you probably already have matting"
