And when I say that I mean either two full time jobs or a full time & and part time job?

Did that shyt once before and didn't even last a week.

Got a chance to do it again, And I want to but I know this shyt gonna be killer. :mjcry:

But it would offset not getting OT on my current job and put me in position to make a HUGE salary jump in a few months.

Would break down something like this:

1st job: M-F 7 AM - 4 PM $25 per hour

2nd job: M, T, F, possibly Sun 5 PM - 11 PM $20 per hour

Talk to me brehs :jbhmm:
Working two jobs and the word successfully in one sentence..
:leostare:

Successful would mean: you do as little as possible, make more money than you've ever done and have time for yourself and money for fun things.

Find 1 thing that pays you more for than the 2 jobs combined in less time than the 2 combined. Not saying that is easy: but identifying your core skill is crucial in this process and seeing that not working more hours for more money is the solution to get more money, the solution is increase value per hour.

1st job: 5 days x 8 hours x 25 dollars per hour = 1000 dollars in 40 hours
2nd job: 3 days x 5 hours x 20 dollars per hour = 300 dollars in 15 hours

5200 a month is a very good salary for the average person, so that part is a great look and a chance to save (and avoid debt..)

Point 1) So what job pays 1400 or 1500 dollars in 40 hours per week? = more or less 6K per month, or you work that 20 hours and get 3K per month
Point 2) You like money. So you must have a skill, something you do great and something you love being great at and doing. THAT is your natural skill. Going down the road with that skill can get you far. Or you are great at ideas or helping people then THAT is your skill... and get to work on monetizing it.

May I ask

Avi got me :dead: as hell

:laff:

Wouldn't you make more getting OT than working a 2nd job?

If I could get OT I wouldn't even consider a 2nd one.
depends on the jobs. i make 1/3 less at my second job than my first. but i cant do ot at my first because id get fired for choking someone out. im a clinic program manager and deal with a lot of personalities both with patients and workers. doesnt help when my administration are dikkheads and lean on me to be the bad guy to lay the hammer.

You'd be working up to 70 hours a week. :picard:

That's still only like $70k a year before taxes. Are you saving up for something? If you are, you'd probably be much better off making a budget and cutting expenses.

Need the experience, not the money.

Money going to savings.

If they're flexible, I'd try to work only once or twice a week at the second job.
It is, but we'll see how it goes. May end up cutting down to just weekends after CFB season ends

Wherever whores go.....
I did it when I was younger

The upside was was two paychecks at the same time is magical. It wasn’t that strenuous because my main 9-5 job I only worked 12-5 since I was out in the field.and The other job was strictly weekends.

But it’s too difficult long term and better to try for a FT job that pays enough that You don’t need a second job

I did years ago. I was working roughly 80 hours a week, some days I would work almost 18 hours.

It was unsustainable, my mind started to fail.
I was legit unable to remember the simplest of things..

I honestly don't know how my mom did it when I was young, makes no sense.

Gahdamn, I know you be tired.

My sleeping pattern is all fukked up. I've been doing nightshift since I was 24 (I'm 28) When it hits 5 AM I dead ass fall asleep. I cannot help it. When 5 o clock is over I'm back awake. When I'm off from my night job I do not take the time off to sleep. I go out to bars/clubs. I have enough time to sleep cause I gotta be at work at 2 pm the next day. Also if you work a night do not drink Red Bull back to back. You will crash hard, super hard. I use to work at the hospital and drink Red Bull and I straight out passed out on the stairs. No joke. if you want to be consistent with it drink water in between. I learned this the other week. Also 5 Hour energy is good but I advise anyone to drink it around 2 PM if you are doing a 8 hour shift. I do not need 2 jobs I ended up with 2 jobs. I don't have a wife, kids or a house mortgage.
