too bad for him i get an average of 10-20 mbps on LTE in Michigan.
Yea thats rare, I'm on sprint now and I've never seen more than 2 mbps on 4G.

Btw, I have the $65 plan from a few years ago with 450 minutes and unlimited data and my bill monthly is $88.

$65 + $10 (smart phone fee) + taxes + insurance/repair - 20% discount = $88

Sprint is garbage. They are only good around large cities if you stay anywhere else you are shytted on. I was paying the damn 4G or LTE tax and didn't even get 3G. I was on some slow as shyt. I tell you this much. My T-Mobile isn't even on LTE and shyts on Sprint with it's HSPA+. No way should T-mobile have better plans, phones, and service than Sprint who is supposed to be the 3rd biggest network.

You bugging, you could be feasting right now with T-Mobile. $70 for unlimited talk/text/web +2.5 gigs of tethering a month. Insurance is $4-10, so even w/ the highest one you're at $80. So w/ tax your'e at about $88-90. And you'll have REAL LTE.

REAL LTE depends on where you live but he will damn sure on average have better data with Tmobile.

If you joined plan 20% off would only apply to data. Not your entire bill.

my monthly bill is $78 after all discounts. I'm gonna hit up a Sprint corporate store and see if they'll accept my backup phone (EVO 4G LTE) as the trade in and if so i think if they keep my bill the same i'll go to this Sprint One Up. If my bill is gonna be the same regardless then basically i get annual upgrades and other than that its a wash. honestly i have my issues with Sprint but i won't be leaving. their 4G has been good to me and its popping up in more and more places.

This was my plan until they told me the corporate discount would only apply to the data portion of the bill. I would have went from paying $80 to about $110.

you still keep the $15 they give you off for being in the program though. so if you aren't doing the tethering you're starting at $65 - my company discount brings that to $59. as long as taxes and the monthly phone fee don't take me over the $78 i'm paying now basically i'm saying is its effectively me paying the same amount but getting annual upgrades. i got $20 worth of wiggle room to play with.

I don't remember the exact numbers but it wasn't that simple. It was more like this.

$50(phone bill)+$30 data-$15+$27(monthly for Note 3)+$11 for the insurance=$103+taxes. My 23% discount would only apply to the $30 data charge. Which gave me about $6 off. So $97+taxes. Just wasn't worth it to me.

I just got my nexus 5 in the mail so I'll be terminating my contract in a couple days (I might have to pay $100 ETF):win:. Straight Talk looks compelling at $45 and since I've never gone over 2gb on Sprint, but those T-mobile speeds look godly

:myman: Well if you don't go over 2gb's on sprint, you can get the 2.5gig plan & save $10.
