Yo just finished episode 5, dam I saw it heading that way but dam.

It's a really well executed time story. Everything connects well enough that I haven't been pulled out of the plot off of ridiculousness (it's come close though).

I feel like the one complaint I have is that the introduction was a big plot spoiler from the opening scene through the title credits, I turned to my brother and said this would be another "can we break the cycle" type of joint ala 12 Monkeys. Now I'm just hoping there's a payoff on the finale to all this great world building that goes past "it's inevitable."

Older Ulrich running around the 50's screaming on people was a bit much too...that was the one point where I really did feel a bit removed from the story and laughing when I should be concerned.

I don't even know what could follow this, like, I see the opening for season two but without all the mystery and intrigue it's gonna be hard to top this, quality-wise.

If you dont get the Stanger Things similarities...your an idiot....

Elements if the 80s....missing kids....shady corporation/govt....science fiction/supernatural elements.

Where they differ is Dark is for folks with above average IQs...and if you dont know whats going on, you fall in the group below that....it lacks corny comedic elements....and has no silly monsters.....at least this 1st season

Weak and boring show for the most part but the effort is there so no hate at the end.

The two part of the show, family/relationship and the time travel thing aren't well connected.
The first is zero interest and the time travel thing never pay off. The end is so generic and show they have no original idea about sci fi.

And the little world of a small city, that's getting old.

Very confusing with the characters and their names too. Bartoz
