I don't get this post...Literally every single one of Paul's FG's in that 1st Q were well contested jumpers from 18ft out, and to begin with none of those players actually produced those lines on Curry but a multitude of defenders and the Warriors D as a whole. His defense on Conley was fine and Klay was already spending time guarding him in G2, didn't seem to matter much when he hit a dagger three in the 4th. Irving was guarded by Klay in G1 and he wasn't the more impactful player

Most people think he's a bad or subpar at best defender. I consider him good b/c of his high activity both on and especially off ball where he's a very good team defender.

...but he did guard Westbrook. And I've seen that dude make Chris Paul his personal bytch

Said it before and i'll say it again. Portland has a damn good squad and their roster depth is overlooked. They are primed to be one of the top dogs out west by the next 2-3 years. They sittin pretty good salary wise too. If they can obtain a stanley johnson/justice winslow type of 3 man they'll be super straight
I still dont know why they blew up their starting lineup I remember watching them with Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, and Lopez thinking these boys could make some noise if they stay together but Aldridge from the outside looking in seemed like he had a problem with Lillard :mindblown: so he wanted out. What big wouldnt want to play with Lillard :why:

That's exactly what happened...Aldridge wanted out and Matthews probably wasn't going to re-sign so they built around Lillard.

He guarded him when we were down 18 from the bench, took him off when we were coming back. But it's it's whatever

Damn near every NBA fan knows Curry's an average-terrible defender. He plays the passing lanes well and is a good team defender so he's not a complete liability. It's really only ESPN and some hardcore stans that try to force the narrative he's anything but awful 1v1. Warriors are elite defensively regardless and can throw Klay on any guard Steph's having trouble with. It does kinda annoy me Harden gets destroyed for the slightest defensive mishap while the Golden Boy comes through unscathed when nikkas are regularly dropping season/career highs on his dome.

Besides Dame scored 21 of his 51 with the Warriors starters on the bench throughout the entire 4th quarter. Lowkey some scumbag shyt but that ain't none of my business. :sas1:

Y'all legit had a big three in Dame, LMA and Wes. Batum capable of big shots too. But Wes Matthews was crazy effective. I wonder if him getting hurt was what really seal the deal for LMA leaving.

Him guarding westbrook ended up with the warriors down 9 - 0 in about two minutes and then Kerr put Klay on him.

Wall went for 40 on Steph...

Lowry went for 40 on Steph

Lillard went for 40 then came back and went for 50.

How many times is the mvp of the league going to let his matchup go for 40 or more points?

:mjlol: at when Klay final get fed up with this shyt. I know on the inside he got to be :stopitslime: after the other point guard hit that 4th straight shot cause he know Steph about to run down the court and hug up on Luch Mba A Moute:russ:

Did you watch those games closely? They didn't score that on Curry and he didn't allow a single matchup to drop 40. That's massive hyperbole. Him guarding WB wasn't the reason OKC went on a 9-0 run, I don't know what you're even talking about there and one of his fouls were picked up swiping the ball against Durant.
Breh everytime you come on here you sucking the Warriors dikk and saying outlandish shyt

Is it too much to admit that Curry isn't a very good defender?

I mean you even said that Draymond Green would be able to guard Kareem :mindblown:
I won't admit that because I think he is a good defender. People ITT are making the mistake of thinking Lillard, Lowry, Wall's point totals are because of him when they scored a huge portion of their points on other defenders. Like Lillard dropped 20 in the 4th when Curry wasn't even in the damn game yet didn't hit a single FG when guarded by him in the 2nd (was able to draw a 3rd foul on him though)

When I come across a post that I disagree with, I'll respond to it. It's that simple. Just so happens that the Warriors have just been the most discussed team in the league past two seasons so there's a lot of opportunities for me to talk about them especially on this board where ya'll go to crazy extremes.

I said Dray would guard Kareem fine with help from the Warriors team defense. Under today's rules, it's a lot easier to contain post up big men than it was back then. The actual point was that he'd make up for any adv Cap had in the post by exploiting him in the P&R and transition which you weren't accounting for at all.
No he didn't guard Russ the last game they played, and when he did the few times he got bullied,Klay was on Russ mostly that game

It wasn't a few possessions, Curry spent significant time on Westbrook especially in the 3rd Q and would've remained on him in the 1st had he not picked up a 2nd foul on Durant. WB didnt bully anyone that game

You guys began the comeback in the 3rd Q and he guarded WB then. Klay did get the assignment for the large majority of the 4th though

My point here is that the notion of "Curry doesn't guard elite PG's" just isn't true, he does. The Warriors don't need to hide him anymore than the Clips do Paul

You can't be serious:what:

Curry started off guarding Russ, but Russ kept posting him up,and Warriors had to double, because Russ was hitting the open man and then Klay switched on Russ from the middle of the first until Halftime,Curry started guarding Russ again, but Russ started BULLYING Curry again then Livingston and Klay checked him for the rest of the game.

Quit making shyt up:ufdup:
