Yeah i think with this conference its more socially oriented, which isnt a bad thing, but I think the way its advertised is a bit disingenuous. Not saying you cant get an interview and what not but I feel you have to be a bit more focused on what you want while you’re there.

I’ve never gone to the conference but I’ve attended an event in Chicago. I enjoyed it. A lot of positive, professional black folks. Great for networking. Great attitudes all around. I want to go again. I have to make the time for it

My job paid for it but I think companies are getting wise to what is going on down there , to be honest is was a three day party with some talks during the day .

I heard about this one guy whose job paid for it and he got fired while he was down there.

It's messed up but they probably googled it and saw all the posts folks was making about it and started feeling some kinda way about ole boy swindling them out of PTO and an $800 ticket just to go party and hook up with chics
