I’ll gladly share. I started off on eBay.

I started off in t shirts with sayings on them.
Expanded into do it yourself kits to fix the Xbox red ring of death. Like this Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death Fix Kit
At the time these were going for $50 and cost $12 from China.

Then there was a craze within the skate board community for these short skate boards.Penny board - Wikipedia

After I researched some more and decided amazon was a bigger market. (Ppl back then thought eBay would eventually crush them lol)

My cousin who grew up in the country took me to a hunting shop, I saw knives that were like $50-$250 dollars.

Looked em up and realized i could sell off branded ones for half the price same quality. Found a company producing them for an actual us based knife company doing the same thing and just putting a logo on them when they got to America.

My cousin helped me understand what ppl wanted in knives.

Paid $200 for a small order. Flipped them within 4 hours on amazon for $1500. Reinvested $500 of that in an another order and the rest is history.

Small little niche that made me hundreds of thousands of dollars.

They cost me $20 and I sold them for $100-$150.

I broke off my cousin $1000 bc he helped me understand the market. He started selling off brand workout dvds that were the same types of workouts like p90x. He made about $20k but he wasn’t into like that.

I started fukking this hippy black chick and she had all these items she’d have to perform at festivals.

I sold performance wands like this

They sell for $40 and cost $5. You sell just 10 a day that’s $350 in profit before shipping.

I know a black girl that was doing it too selling silk colored Durags for $25 getting them for $3-4. Bought herself a high rise apartment cash. But she got loud stunting on Twitter :snoop:and told ppl what she did. They undercut her and now she’s gotta find a new product.

Ppl think that they need to find an item everyone will buy. That’s not the case. The best people I’ve seen that have made tons of made starting from nothing find products for 1-5% of the population.

You gotta find a niche. Everyone’s not going to buy a knife or durag in their lifetime but those markets still make millions a year. Find a niche! Start looking at little stuff in your daily life that no one else would think about selling.
Very cool to hear, thanks for the knowledge:salute:

Gonna dig deep then and find out what I should sell. I'm def gonna look into the amzshark website you linked as well.

300 a month extra is good tho. I would not mind at all earning an extra 300 a month putting in 3 or 4 hours of my time.

My problem was you hear alot of stories of grand wins and I felt like people were just selling dreams. Whenever you meet someone who's been in this for a while they always say they used to make very good money but then stopped, and I'm just thinking ok then I'm meant to believe you were making 70K a year but decided to stop and go back to working a regular job?

Or they give you second hand accounts of someone they know of or a friend of a friend who made hundreds of thousands or millions. All sound like :duck: to me. People love to mark up how much they really making when it comes to stuff like this.

It’s real breh. Take the girl selling colored silk durags.

$25 selling. $3 to buy $3 to ship a durag.

$19 profit.

Say she wanted to make $200k a year.

That’s about $550 in profit she must make a day. 200k/365=$550

$550/$19=30 durags a day.

30*365 is 10,959 or about 11 thousand durags.

Just using black males as buyers. Black Male Statistics - BlackDemographics.com

21 million of us.

11,000 durags/21,000,000 million black males=.0005

All she needs to make $200k in profit is to get .005% of black males to buy a colored durag. :jawalrus:

She’s clearing that easy, and that’s not taking into account guys that buy more than 1, white ppl buying them, girls buying them for their men. shyt adds up very very quickly breh. :manny:

To be a millionaire shawty only needs

55,000 durags sold.

55,000/21,000,000=.002

Shawtys making a million a year in PROFIT if .2% of black males buy a durag that only costs $25. That’s not even close to getting into the single digits in a population that accounts for 6% of the overall population.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink :hubie:

That money’s real out here man. Ppl really making that much off bullshyt products. shyts real, I have no reason to lie to u. Go make some bread :obama:

Yeah until the water gets cut off, other sellers will sabotage your page, or amazon will under cut themselves and start selling the same product you are selling at a cheaper price you can't compete with

If you allow another seller to sabotage your page, it’s bc your lazy and didn’t sabotage your own page.

You undercut yourself:lolbron:

Which link?

Here are both again.

AMZShark.com - The Premier Toolkit for Professional Amazon Sellers
eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums

It seems like a lot but it isn’t. If you spend enough time on thecoli to understand what different smilies mean. You can easily make 200k a year selling on amazon.

The community is internet and forum based just like thecoli.

I was a 19 year old pothead making tons of money just doing what I normally do, fukking around on the internet.

It’s not hard at all. I’d wake up, smoke, check my amazon account, email my Chinese contacts and that’d take 30 minutes total.

fukk around all day doing bullshyt sign back around 9 or 10 pm. Check my accounts, put my items in usps priority boxes (no longer have to do this. Amazon will ship it for you), email my supplier if need be 30-40 minutes total. Then go out to the bars or get high. Wake up at noon the next day and do it again.

1-1.5 hours a day tops

so what's the key when it comes to you getting your sales compared to others?

how are you getting the sales?

it sounds easy, but it can't be because wouldn't everyone just do that and be good?

what makes someone successful in this?

so what's the key when it comes to you getting your sales compared to others?

how are you getting the sales?

The key is to understand how much money you want to make.

There are multiple millions to be made selling paper towels on amazon within the next week. If you want to compete with that product market that’s ok.

However, for example if you sell the accessories for paper towels, that’s a niche.

Find a unique paper towel holder for $5. And sell for $20-$35

Most people think wasting your time for 15-$20 isn’t worth it. But it’s all about volume.

If you sell just 5-10 a day. That’s $75 to $150. Small when looking at it per day but that’s $5k to 30k a year. Solid side income.

Then you expand into toothbrush holders, shower curtains etc. you get to 50-125k a year.

The sweet spot and biggest sales you can get with the highest margins is to find a company selling something unique at high prices.

I sold high end knives.

Another emerging good product is selling sneaker protectors that sell for $30 and you come in and sell it at $25.

I only sold things that my competitors sold at 100-200 items per day. I’d compete and sell 20-50 of those items per day.

200 items a day for them is low bc they pay a lot of ppl.

50 for me with $25 per product profit is $465,000 in profit for just me a year. More than worth it.

The small stuff adds up quickly on amazon. There were maybe 5 days a year I didn’t sell out in a day.

I’d be millionaire if I wasn’t buying bottles, and weed.

Focus on the small stuff then scale up.

Damn breh, that sounds good, I’m type hopeless right now, but shyt like that is good to know.

I just want to make enough money to pay off all my debt first then get better from there.

You know where I should start? Is there a course I should buy? How much I should spend?

Even making an extra 10k-20k would be great for now.

Thanks for the knowledge breh.

I can spend maybe 3 hours a week looking for books and most books are $1- $3 a piece..sometimes you can find book sales where you can get them cheaper.I just went to dollar tree and found these for $1 a piece

So...do you have a space dedicated to holding books until you sell them, or does Amazon do that for you, too? I think I could do that, just trying to understand the whole process.

Take an hour a day to research and find a niche item. Once you’ve decided. Spend 200-500 on your first order.
