I went to goodwill and was checking book prices with scoutly and nearly every book came back reject. Is that how you use scoutly. Just keep scanning until it says accept? Or is there more too it?

So...do you have a space dedicated to holding books until you sell them, or does Amazon do that for you, too? I think I could do that, just trying to understand the whole process.
I send my books to Amazon warehouse and let them put it on the shelves. You can do it merchant too where you do everything including picking and the shipping of each item.

Don't you have to buy the product, get it delivered to your house, put it on sale, and then ship it to the buyer? I saw something about having to pay like $40 a month so I imagine you gotta sell enough to cover your supplies and costs. Is there really a big demand for books like that? Is this only possible for US or international also?

:ohhh:

Pros/cons of each?
Merchant you get more profit but you literally have to pick the item when it sales, pack it up and ship it yourself.

I pack maybe 60 books in a box ship it to Amazon warehouse, let them unpack it and put it on the shelves and as they sale the picker gets it off the shelf for me. Its just higher fees and I don't have to do the refunds cause amazon does them for me.

When you started making a decent amount of money did you use payability?

No I wasn’t that sophisticated. My biggest mistake actually was not having a steady stream of inventory. I’d spend money going on trips and shyt. Instead of dedicating a certain percentage of my profits to buying more inventory.

And if you buy amazon accounts, you don’t have to wait the 2 weeks to get your cash, you can cash out daily. Those restrictions aren’t on there.

USPS supplies shipping boxes for free Shipping Supplies | USPS.com

They want people to ship with them. You do have to pay for the paper and ink to print the shipping label and then obviously the amount it is to ship.

But you can save a lot of money just ordering supplies from usps.

Do you create an Amazon store and do it thru there or thru the FBA site? Would this work with your own creations too?

I’ll be honest with u it’s been a couple years since I signed into the amazon seller account. At the time you could buy the shipping label through the amazon seller (store) account. Print it then and then add it to the package.

This would work for your own creations too. My friend who sells electric skateboards “white labels” (White-label product - Wikipedia) them under his company’s name. It’s a name only for amazon, he doesn’t put his logo or anything on the products bc it costs money to do that and he’s really cheap.
