Do you think you work better at home or in the office? how do you deal with distractions?
I find i work better at home as i am free to get up and walk around, play with the dog, or fix something quick to eat. Also its no point being in the office as most of my colleagues are out of state and we mostly communicate vua skype

I can do my overtime from home. I still do some hours at work but this week I discovered how to do it from home. Just did like an hour earlier. Sure you may have distractions but you gotta overlook those and act like you actually at the office. Takes some getting used to tho.

This is what I do. I prefer it for the most part. Only downside is I have 2 little kids, so I sometimes have to deal with that if my gf/their mother has to run an errand or something. But it is nice being able to interact with them when I take short breaks or have some downtime.

I do. Here are a few things that work for me:

1. Get ready for work everyday. I'm not saying put on a three piece suit, but shower, shave and get dressed.
2. Go to the gym or go for a walk or do something that gets you moving at lunch.
3. Make sure you talk on the phone with your team and manager daily. Even if it's just to let people know what you're doing.
4. If you are sick take a sick day, don't open up your laptop every hour and half ass it.
5. Enjoy it, do fun shyt like meet your girl for drinks at 3pm on Friday or read a book outside in the summer but don't take advantage.

I work from home 5 days a week for the last 3 years. Im much more productive at home because I'm not chatting all day.You dont have to deal with traffic & you have much more time for yourself. My job isnt demanding at all so Im usually bullshytting all day. I really need to find more constructive uses of my time :mjcry:
