i wouldnt even waste time or energy wondering about that job. just keep applying elsewhere. It's like dating. If they want you fr they will make it obvious.

Yeah but im hearing blue collar aint that sweet as well. I was really considering going into plumbing this summer but freelancing picked up for me
Blue collar hasn't changed. All that "go do the trades" shyt is just propaganda to create competition and lower peicess adipisicingr
Not myself, but I know quite a few people that can’t seem to land a job for shyt and they’re really trying hard. What makes it worse is it seems like everybody is hiring (signs and posts everywhere), but nobody is hiring…
They're not hiring. Those are ghost jobs. Mostly used for talent farming

You must got hella money saved up?
This one is actually not hard to do. A few thousand strung together can cover necessitities for several months.

Ive played around with the idea before. ButThe issue is the gap in employment. :francis:

Also cant help but feel guilty about not saving or investing during the months off, so i could never pull the trigger :snoop:

This seems easy to solve by going directly to company hiring portals. But this will obviously limit you to the mega players in your industry.

Departments figure out budgets end of year and q4. It’s the worst time to looks for a position as most companies haven’t allocated funding for new resources. Should pickup in February when needs are identified and hr is back in office full swing.

Seems like most places don’t send rejection emails these days
and if they do, they send it months down the line.

I literally had a job once send me a rejection email to only end up sending me an interview invitation that was meant to go to someone else.

Also, what helped me land a position was LazyApply. Pay the $120, it’s worth it. I was actually burned out from all the interviews I had landed with back to backs for 3 weeks straight and the choice of 3 different offers.

That’s a sloppy recruiter, the rea had been filled and once it’s time to flip it to hire and delete all the candidates in the ATS it sends out the auto rejection letters unless the recruiter has to do it manually (which is why you don’t ever get a letter or it comes a month later after they’ve landed their hire).
