Was just listening to old g unit and I’m convinced banks wrote most of 50s shyt back then.

listen to 50 when he was around banks and when he wasn’t it’s pretty obvious. I always wondered why 50 couldn’t make good music after g unit and this makes sense why.

Swear I remember banks freestyling and using in the club hook in his verse on some mixtape.

Also I wouldn’t let 50 call me lazy if I was responsible for the majority of his hits . :dead:

They complement each other well, better together but I’m not sure how much of a collaborative effort it was behind the scenes

50 meant he’s lazy like come write my shyt :lolbron:. I see what you are saying but you think 50 couldn’t make the same music because he was busy? I dubo I can’t remember any good 50 music any time after g unit.

Its weird but I guess its not impossible for whatever reason, even prodigy had a gradual decline lyrically.

That nikka was up a 100 mill before his 3rd album dropped. I wouldn't even step out the house with that kinda of money officially retired :dead:

I get what you're saying tho. At one point I thought JMJ wrote power of the dollar.

It seems 50 was writing for JMJ and wrote for puffy as well

I still love his music old and new:ehh:

You thought Jay was writing for 50? :dahell:

You realize he was a DJ and Producer right, not a rapper.

Lol yea I know but 50 said JMJ taught him how to count bars, write hooks, and structure songs

My mind started to wonder like op because there’s definitely a considerable drop off in his wordplay

:manny:

But I heard those tracks from 97-98 and someone in the YT comments said 50 was ghostwriting for JMJs album that never came out
