I played Astro's Playground and the haptic feedback didnt seem as groundbreaking as reviews made it seem

also personally finding it to be less comfortable than the DS4

mute button is cool though and sticks feel sturdier on this one

I feel like the controller is the most next gen thing to come out of these new systems.

Shooting a gun in a normal shooter just doesn't feel as good after playing borderlands 3 and having different guns feel unique to shoot.

They could do more with the haptic feedback tho. Different rumble patterns arent gonna cut it when astrobot had my controller feeling like rocks and shyt was really rumbling around in the controller.

The only drawback I have is my left thumb still hits the touchpad like the DS4, but that's more a problem with my hands :russ: I will say I have grown more partial to the XB/Nintendo LS/d-pad layout than the symmetrical sticks, but not enough to dock points from Sony. If I could switch the d-pad and LS, it would be my GOAT controller and not even close. The rumble feels way better than 3d rumble, the weight and buttons all feel great, and the triggers are real if non-first/second parties take advantage. I already know the exclusives will be god body :wow:

Not at all. The innovation in the dualsense is a game changer. I will agree its not as comfortable as the ds4. My hands were so use to the ds4 that it will take time for me to get accustomed to the dualsenses ergonomics

That part on the beach level where the sand is blowing at the screen. Stand there and just feel the haptics, it feels like shyt is blowing around in the controller.

When you're in the spring suit and fall in ice water, the triggers completely lock up like you're frozen.

I couldn't help but think about the possibilities in future titles.

Demons souls should have made the heavy attack harder to pull based off the weight of the weapon and your characters total strength.

Also, The Dual Sense is partly why Im so hype for Ratchet and Clank. All the different guns in that game and how they'll use the adaptive triggers and the feel of the haptics is exciting. \

"The adaptive triggers are something we’re excited to feature [in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart]! For instance, the Enforcer is a dual-barreled shotgun type weapon. As you pull the trigger, you’ll fire from one barrel, and you can feel resistance around halfway down the trigger. Need a bigger blast? Pull the trigger through that resistance point and you’ll fire both barrels at the same time."

Nah. shyt is a game changer. Astros Playroom brings it all together with the fine haptics, adaptive triggers and sound. Goat controller
