Mad co workers are off for the Holiday season, but a lot of people getting sick. A lot of them unvaxxed and were bragging about it for much of this year

Now, Im boosted and fully vaxxed, but this is like March 2020 all over again.

hell yeah. I personally know like 5 people who got it (including one on my roster) and thru my people at least 20 people got it.

and a bunch at work (even tho we are remote) got it. yet all these people are so called vaxxed

shyt is running wild here in NY and by wild I mean wild. Testing sites are a mess and it's like these cities didnt learn the damn thing and are underprepared (once again).

I waited on a line 2 hrs today for a test. brehs better be safe ouchea and stay the fukk away from other humans

I had had to attend a meeting on tuesday. A colleague who also attended texted me yesterday that he got it like an hour after I had arrived at my parents house for christmas
Me and my parents are vacced and boostered and I never attend any meetings without an N95 so hopefully nothing happens but I'm still pissed because I told people at work that having meetings with Omicron around and it being the week before christmas was stupid and not safe.

The new variant spreads really fast but thankfully it's mild compared to the OG one from last year.

My 6 year old nephew who had a sore throat last week coughed directly into my eye
and I been having cold like symptoms for a week now
feels really weird, could be the cold or could be the new variant.

I manage a team of around a dozen people at work and it seems like every week someone is getting Covid. It's hard to say if they are telling the truth or just using it for free paid time off.
