They are the beatles of rhyme,rock box was on Mtv when
the closest thing we had to rap showing was blondie....
rappers were dressing like bytches before them nikka
touched down with brims,adidas and chains.

I dont hate them personally or what they did for rap, I just could never get into there music, mad 80s artists id rather listen to then them

Yea y'all just missed out. Raising Hell tour was off the chain. The first real rap megastars. They were like black superheros. No way they could be corny compared to illiterates like Chief Keef and estrogen rappers like (insert girly mouth swagget of the month here)

They are the reason why one should invent the word "swagger". They weren't the most lyrical, didn't have the best flow, but as far as the impact and entertainment goes, as well as making HipHop popular, they are legendary.
I only bump a couple of tracks from them, but I can still appreciate their contribution to the culture.

The only 80's rappers I mess with is KRS One...
Rakim, BD Kane, NWA, K G Rap and all those 80's legends, I dont mess with their music like that...
My hip hop legends started in the 90's...

I am just saying why would I buy an AMC Pacer in 2012...
