Tired of hearing bout that shyt but I gotta admit this shyt changed the country, shyt ain't been the same since :manny:

Livin in NY or NJ made this shyt surreal, seeing the smoke from your apartment building :wow:

This. Seeing parents pick up kids and then finally getting home was some surreal shyt.

Went to school in Newark so there were a lot of parents that worked in Manhattan. Hell my pops was in Midtown but I was still scared shytless.

Hate to sound cold, but I changed the channel this morning as soon as I heard a peep about it. F'd up tragedy, but we as a country look like a bunch of a$$holes focusing on that shyt when other countries have had wars, rebellions and whatnot since then that have killed 100 times as many people as died in the towers.

Word up. We pretty much live 9/11 everyday so wtf is the use of remembering that shyt on the day of.

When that shyt happened and the days and months after, I couldn't wait til time moved on. It was a very uncomfortable time. Damn sure don't want to go back to that time. It just goes back to a place in my life where things were awful.

I guess we suppose to forget slavery too?
I guess we suppose to forget Jesus wept too?
I guess we suppose to forget that scene when Terminator drove the motorcycle off the over pass in Judgement Day like a G too Nikkka????

Lets be real, when talking about this country,

I was like 7 or 8 when that shyt happened. I still remember it like yesterday though. I remember watching the news, and seeing the planes hit. It was like a movie, I can't remember if I watched them fall live or not, but that whole day was fukked up!! I had no idea that, that day would change everything.
:rudy:You really believe that shyt?

:martin: its been 14 yrs already, we killed Bin Laden, fukked up Iraq, Afghanistan and rebuilt the tower.

forget history if you want :yeshrug:

There is nothing positive about forgetting history. If you feel that there is not enough attention brought up for other historical tragedies, then that's a different matter altogether.

The answer isn't to forget 9/11, the answer is to remember everything else as well.
