Worked in a call center as a part-time tech support rep when I was in college. Was good to get the work experience but I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore. 
If I ever get laid off my current job (SysAdmin basically), call center/tech support would be an absolute last resort. Like, it'd have to be a situation where my unemployment ran out and I'm not sure how I'll pay rent before I'd take that job again. Especially being older now.
