That's kind of why I want to give it up.I've had no internet access before for like 6 months. It was torture mentally and I felt disconnected from the world. I've been using the net since I was like 6. It's a part of me now. I probably couldn't function without it.![]()
Yes. It was hard lol
I know id never be able to do it now, i work 3rd shift and im on the internet most of the time to pass time.
I have developed a bad thecoli and twitter addiction![]()
I said the same thing when I started posting on SOHH... No offense but the bolded is why you will continue to post because you don't have many friends and you probably have some social issues that makes finding friends hard.I plan on leaving message boards once i leave for college in the summer.
The only reason i started posting on forums is because my friends moved out of state for college and i didn't have anyone to hang out with.
With the internet you get too used to going to a particular place(like this forum) and talking to people that have the exact same interest as you, instead of going outside and meeting someone.I said the same thing when I started posting on SOHH... Just get ready to attempt to explain to people why you're always on this site because it will be hard. They will look at it and not even understand why you like this sh1t.
Not at all... That's lame...With the internet you get too used to going to a particular place(like this forum) and talking to people that have the exact same interest as you, instead of going outside and meeting someone.
I'm not talking about the Coli or SOHH in particular, but Message board posters in general. You take a person who doesn't have social skills, but has a passion or hobby for anything. They can find a forum that's about that particular hobby and talk to people on the internet all day about it instead of talking to people outside. Not at all... That's lame...
A lot of cats on here do strike me as 20 something and seriously lacking on pussc consumption and friendship but I'm certain a lot of people damn near grew up posting on SOHH and managed to lead great social and financially successful lives.
