Anyone ever try giving up the internet?

It's almost impossible in this day and age unless you're totally not into technology at all.

I've spoken to girls who aren't on facebook, twitter, instagram or anything like that and I've found that they're often not educated and don't have a large circle of friends.

If you went to college the internet is the easiest way to keep up with friends from out of state.

It's impossible for me because of my job, I constantly need to download music and what not. I personally just try to give up on the social networks because those are the biggest time consumers.

I'm not talking about the Coli or SOHH in particular, but Message board posters in general. You take a person who doesn't have social skills, but has a passion or hobby for anything. They can find a forum that's about that particular hobby and talk to people on the internet all day about it instead of talking to people outside.

I gotcha... Yeah that makes sense but it's also a sad existence. My cousin is the lamest most corny anti social nerd ass nicca you will ever meet but he leads a very productive social life. When I took him to his college orientation he quickly sought out some other lames and managed to pull a cute lil dweeb ass green chick just like him. If that nicca and his crew can do it anyone can. If you have limited human interaction and spend your life on forums because you basically refuse to find people with your same interest irl you need counseling imo.

and just about all women are attention whores. Social media isn't just about attention whoring more so than it is about keeping up with your friends and/or meeting people.

It's like trying to free yourself from crack at the 5 o'clock free crack giveaway. The net is everywhere breh. The fact that I'm laying in bed and typing this from my phone says it all.

Like a few others said the only time I've distanced myself is on vacation. Other than that it's next to impossible. How do you distance yourself from something that you have to go on?

I feel the universe functioning perfectly, but I'm still perfectly locked inside myself. Instead of oneness I feel isolation...
