Anyone going to Trinidad for Carnival

well they tell me that in brazil there is less participation and the music/energy isnt as good.. In trinidad the island shuts down totally for a week party all day and all night..crazy fetes nonstop and 2 days of carnival to complete the week of festivities. I havent been to brazils carnival but I know it is hard to top this and i been to a few carnivals.

I've been to Carnival in Brazil numerous times and it's live as hell... less participation? Hell, everybody and their momma (that I know) belongs to one samba school or another; they practice all year around for Carnival, because it's the one thing the poor folks (usually Afro-Brazillian) can actually participate in.

I guess it's different strokes and all that, cause I haven't been to a carnival yet that could top Rio's.

when your really about that carnival life....you learn each carnival is different depending where its at.....that doesn't mean one is better..its what fits your vibes and type of music best...

when I'm in grenada or nyc or mia or caribana or trinidad I don't expect none of these carnival's to be the same.....MUSIC is what really makes the carnivals ..and if the music wack then


but I'll tell you this..the islands don't play when it comes to carnival ..Brazil is huge ..granted....but these are islands..when I tell you everything stops and shuts down for carnival..I mean EVERYTHING..

Well I about that carnival life..when I said preach it, i was saying it like "amen"..i dont mess with mia or caribana because they are kinda garbage to me, but I wont miss a trinidad or a jamaica carnival..trinidad is serious though. I love my brazilian women but I am not really into the music like the Soca vibes...I am going to definitely hit up world cup there though, I am sure its a beautiful country with nice women.

You said that in a VERRRRRRRRRY modest way. Don't you realize that Brazil has the most beautiful woman in the world. Everything with a vagina is thick and fine. Plus it's easy to bag one or two of them chicks if your from america.

carnival in trinidad is so big that 75% of the songs are about it lol. Everything is just based on dancing and drinking rum and all that.
