Even if you hate sci-fi, Star Wars is so embedded in American culture that you need to watch them. So many jokes, parodies, analogies you won’t understand if you don’t.

Great shows and I don’t even like Disneys soft ass animation but it will help understand shows like Ahsoka

You can like both. Trek is more realistic and Wars is more fantastical

I actually Like Star Trek movies better
But I think Star Wars is neck and neck with Star Trek in shows. But a lot of those shows have longevity like that yet.

no OP, been a Star Wars fan my whole life, Episodes 1-6 are good, and Rogue One, but I feel sorry for people watching the new Star Wars films with Rey and Finn, those movies were TRASH, and ruined the original Star Wars story line
