Err we've always needed visas ever since Bush's first term when he put them on the watch list. I did my brazilian visa (course it helps I live in LA where pretty much all consulates are), I dont know why people complain about filling at a simple application and paying $100-$160 bucks. I have to do it every year, shyt is easy as hell. Fill out a 2 page form, give them your passport and a pic, come back 3 days later, whats so hard about that? Americans are so lazy, you should see the process to come to america, it's a whole lot more than that, AND you need to interview, some twice. it can take up to 6 months, and that's just to vacation. shiet.

who lied to you? :heh:

most the the people in the article i posted don't have the luxury of having a consulate in the city in which they reside and the rules for the cup weren't widely publicized. that's why i posted so coli crew would be prepared.

My dad, mom, and brothers are going. They're staying at a family friend's place in Leblon.

I thought about going but as much as I love soccer and Rio in particular, I don't want to deal with how much of a clusterfukk it's going to be. I can see it being an absolute headache.

Im surprised people think we dont need a visa in certain places. I thought everyone checked the travel advisories and entry requirements of every country they're about to travel too. :wtf:

Applied for my visa last week, but still need game tix. So much hype and backlash surrounding it but felt like it was a once in a lifetime chance. Will be in Sao Paulo, Curitba and Rio from June 20-29. Who else is going, what's your itinerary look like?
i was thinking about it but said fukk it. So im getting a car instead. :heh:

I'm supposed to go after the World Cup around October-November.. Do I have to apply for a visa then? Can't you just get your passport stamped thru customs when you land?

No. you have to get your visa before hand and you have to give them info of where you are staying as well. if memory serves correct, you have to be traveling to brazil within 3 months of your visa application.

No doubt. I remember seeing a doc on how a lot of women use steroids to get thicker. In America, men like big butts and don't care if the women have skinny legs. In Brazil, the men want to whole lower half to be proportional and thick, down to the calves. The amount of leg exercises they do in Brazil is :mindblown:

I feel ya. My brother is going. If I go to Brazil, it will either be when things are back to normal or for the Olympics which they should have their act together by then. To many logistical issues can pop up with this World Cup and it may not be worth it.

It's only going to get worse for the Olympics.
