I don't care about race, but I do care about race related issues.
I'd be a ignorant fool not to care about the issues at hand, especially since everyday life is corrupted by ideas like white supremacy or social darwinism.

I care about race like I care about gender, age, nationality... it's a reality of the world, but I don't spend my day thinking about race from first thing in the morning to the moment I fall asleep. I think about it as I encounter it, and I try to learn enough that I don't end up believing false stuff about it... Ignoring it doesn't make it go away, so of course I have to care about it, that's the only way to figure out how to behave myself.

I think not paying attention to 'race relations' is foolish, but at the same time I feel that many take it way too personal.
That happens with many things, not just race. It's good to have sight beyond sight and see what's really going on in the world - whether it be wealth, gender or race relations, politics etc. - but don't fall into the trap of bitterness.
Know the game, know the players, and play it to the best of your ability and improve your station in life.
Some people are congenitally angry. They spend their whole lives being angry at something. They're angry at 'white supremacy', angry at women or feminism, angry at the government, angry at the 1%, angry at the Illuminati(or whatever), angry at religion, angry at patriarchy, angry at liberals or conservatives, angry at c00ns and bedwenches etc.
It's like... damn! The world has always been less than ideal and that's the way it's always going to be, but there is also a lot of beauty and goodness in the world. Take advantage at some of it before you die.

I care about the progress that has been made regarding racism (and the lack thereof), but it doesn't dominate my thinking on a day to day basis.
I think TLR focuses on it a lot.
Every other post/thread on here seems to be about black militancy and PAWGs this, and PAWGs that. Almost like a reverse Donald Sterling, where certain members of the coli hate white people with their hearts, but not with their dikks.

This is what I wanted to get at. I see a lot of people who just seem very angry all the time. It must suck to live in a world that you pretty much hate.
