I still browse a few sites with sections dedicated to things I'm interested in, but for the most part, yes. Also stopped reading comments under articles and YT videos. Feels so refreshing not having to see and deal with the BS and microaggressions.

I stopped reading internet comments a long time ago. rather than list the sites I don't, it'd be easier to list the ones I do read comments from: hypebeast. That's it.

The fact that those are real people making those comments and then realizing that those real people are surrounding you creates an unsettling feeling.

I used to post on forums.ughh.com. First hip-hop forum I ever posted on and internet forum in 2005 to 2006.

Got called everything from the enormously white userbase from n***** to ape to uncle tom. I even had the mods throwing racist insults at me. And I was one of the more premier posters on there at the time. I lurked TLR on SOHH for two days and signed up on the third and never looked back at UGHH.

I tried logging back in on UGHH after posting on SOHH for a while with my old SN just to catch up with people. I made a thread simply titled "what's up?"

The first response in that thread was simply "go home n*****r."

That was the last time I ever visited that forum. And that was almost ten years ago.

Tried posting on city-data but found it literally impossible...people on there are the absolute WORST! Eventually I just started trolling that forum with one post with honest observations about cities in regards to race and only post once...they would go on for pages until a mod locked them...the only purpose was to entertain myself and expose racists on that forum. And honestly, I'm just going to go out on a limb and say 95% of the userbase of city-data is genuinely racist as fukk. It's very evident, especially when it comes to threads that discuss crime in the city and people moving into "certain neighborhoods" :mjpls:

I only go on straightdope.com these days. The only website i know where the majority of whites dont seem to have an antiblaxk agenda. Theres good debates there too. Its a small forum tho, full educated people who just like to discuss things. :ehh:

There used to be site called called "askjuan" this is like 03-04 tho. It basically segmented it's users by race...and had a common room for the battleground. I was elected president for the melanin rich:smugdraper:. I still see the typed chants "proto for prez...proto 4 prez":blessed::blessed:

My username was like prototype or somn like that.

More recently I've been banned twice from sodahead.com:manny:...it's not even a forum anymore.
The coli has a good balance of entertainment and fukkery:jawalrus:

I've never posted on predominantly 'White' sites unless it was for a game I was playing such as World of Warcraft or Diablo. Mods kept a pretty tight rein on racism, so I never had to deal with it. Can't say the same about in-game chat, though. The only solutions to that were to either 'Ignore' the person(s) on the server, or, report them to a GM. Getting into any type of 'discussion' with them was fruitless unless I could get their account banned by taking a screenshot of the chat log. I think on WoW, I got 30 people banned forever......:lolbron:
