Anyone here scared to talk to females?

My little cousin is college aged now yet still scared to talk to females and when I say talk to females, I mean he's scared to look them in face, make eye contact with them, be in their presence, talk to them, everything

He told me that he used to get played and called ugly all the time when he was younger, so it crushed his self esteem and now he's anxious around them. He's scared to even walk by girls because he's scared they'll react negatively, freak out, call him ugly or laugh at him


Is this a normal thing among young people nowadays? Never heard of a nikka scared to talk to females until now

No, that's not normal at all. It sounds like he has anxiety issues and definitely has low self esteem. Being afraid to look others in the face, eye contact and being anxious are all signs of high anxiety. He needs to find ways to combat his anxiety symptoms and then become more used to interacting with females. It's not just about approaching them since not every guy is obligated to care about that, but it still matters for general social skills purposes.

No that isn't normal. Sounds like he has bad anxiety and possibly depression. The tell-tale sign is that he can't even handle being around them. He either needs a professional or/and some friends to help ease him out his shell.

My friend does that, looks for females with low self esteem on twitter and then dm them, only to fukk them and never talk to em again on campus. I used to help his ass out too. nikkas gotta be ruthless sometimes

He seems okay around older ones. Its primarily ones his age and younger

He's only nervous around dating/sex prospects. If he met an older chick he wanted he'd probably clam up to.

It could also be that since it was girls his own age dissing him growing up that would could explain why he's nervous around them. When I was super shy I was more comfortable around older women too.
