How are the prices so low?

$0.29 cucumbers
$0.35 avocados
$0.59 for a bag of baby carrots

They got bags of salad for $1.50. They charge at least $2.00 at Publix.

I work in the grocery industry. Their food, and particularly their meat, is quality as fukk. They cut costs by keeping the stores as basic and thinly staffed as humanly possible. Like they might have half the number of people a regular grocery store has working at any time. It's a good operation. Every time I go I'm like "wait I got all that for THAT????"

As the other poster said, aldis and trader joes share the same ownership. At first, I thought it was a high end Save A Lot but the quality is higher than that store. They got some good stuff in there for good prices
