I didn't think I did before, but today while being driven somewhere, I got a weird pain in my side and thought " I hope that's cancer"
guess I got something wrong going on

I have been dealing with depression since I was young. About 8 or 9. Taking effexor right now. Bad days are fewer but I still have them. Looking for new escapes because certain escapes stop being good enough distractions or fun after a while especially when I'm really feeling down on myself. I'm working on understanding my triggers and where they come from. Also, finding a new therapist is high on my priority list.

This is an mri scan comparing a depressed brain to a non-depressed brain...

There's a difference between just being down in the dumps and being clinically depressed.

I see EVIL Spirits

I know they don't belong to me either

But they REALLY like to fukk with me

I always piss them off because I'm NOT AFRAID of them

So sometimes they slam doors, pinch me or try to make me FALL ASLEEP

You're more VULNERABLE when you're SLEEP

They put crazy VISIONS in my dreams as well

Depression is crazy. It's a fukker too. But after 6,7 years I just decided one day I wouldn't be depressed anymore. Everytime it creeped back in I just literally shook my head to get my shyt straight. Been so long now I almost forget what that depressed feeling feels like. Besides I'm too busy to be depressed.. fukk that shyt, it's a demon. :whew:

I've been suffering from depression for over 7 years.

I take medication for it now.

It's not as bad as before, but I've already come to the conclusion I'll possibly be like this forever.

But according to the coli depression isn't real and people like myself just need to "suck it up" even though clinical studies conducted by accredited doctors and scientists could easily refute their unfounded claims.

I really hope The Coli isn't taking actual diagnosed mental illnesses and turning them into "bytch Ass Behavior"... because if it were so easy as to 'suck it up', mental health wouldn't be such an issue.

That said, no. But I do get tough days now and again. Not often, I'm usually in a pretty good mood. But whenever I get into those moods, that's usually an indicator for me to go do something that I love. I do music and 90% of my mental process takes up that, in some way, shape or form. So whenever I'm having a not-so-great day, I go play video games or something. I mean, that's the exact reason why entertainment exists. Life is boring and stressful without entertainment. Plus they help out my creativity for fresh new ideas, so it's a win-win on all fronts for me.

But enough about me. Glad to hear you're getting better and handling it properly!
