Been at my company for about a year as a manufacturing tech. What is the trajectory for a career like this ? Right now it just seems to be move up the ladder to manager but I’m debating going back to school . Anyone with some experience?

Friends started a pharmacy and it went under. A lot rides on your suppliers. I’m sure there were things I wasn’t privy too. Just thought I’d share :yeshrug:

Good luck in your endeavors and maybe ship me some opanas

I’m about to flip the script:birdman:

If you can get a bachelors in biology you can definitely do more school, masters is the new bachelors
Maybe so but would it be worth the time and money is my question. There is a lot of money in this field I just don’t know how to get it at my entry level position

Go to biz school and you will come out doing strategy/planning instead of being a pawn making a mere 70k to 80k max. You will also be flexible and not at the mercy of one industry. It’s worth it.

Not in Industry but I know a number of folks doing strategy or operations at six figures straight out of biz school in the biotech/pharma field....Imagine doing school for just two years and more than doubling your income

Yo, how can I get my foot in the door at one of these biotech companies? I keep getting rejected. I was thinking Clinical research associate. i'm honestly not sure what section of life sciences I wanna do? There are so many life science companies in Raleigh and Philly but have no clue how to even get my foot in the door. I like IT, but i only have help desk experience and a health information technology certificate. Should i do IT, Clinical Research, or something else? I need a new job immediately. I'm talking a game changer. $65 k and up. Not looking at sales, need some stability.

Try and get an jntership at a startup, or even get on the cleaning crew. Once u get in the building it’s all about networking

BSc is not enough to get that $$$.

Simple as that.

A MSc in business, finance or management may be enough.

A MSc in biology is a waste of time. If bio, biochem, chem, etc is your game then a PhD is minimum.

Finally - credentials mean nothing if your networking game isn't A+. You suck the right dikks at the right time and bend over for the right people u can be making $$$$ in notime with any credentials.

Life is 10% credentials, 50% networking and 40% luck.
