Usually your money is tied to the persons investment. They change that investment, you could lose that money. Also, unless informed or wealthy, it's very hard to get our community to look at investments and retirement. I want to work with us though because the income untapped in our community is astounding and we need to know that. My day starts at 7 ish and ends when I feel I've done enough. It's like running any business, you have to work a lot but the pay can be ridiculous. What is stressful about it? Workload? High pressure environment?
How long is your typical day & does it ever require you to do extra reading or learning outside of work hours?

would love to go into but the rigorous recruitment process that you need to jump through to get a gig![]()
i work in finance
i loathe it
the people, the routine, the hours, the commute, the monotony. i stick w it because i'm old and stepped into quick sand. i'm married w 2 kids and changing careers at my age gets harder and harder and harder. What's the parts you hate? What makes you stick with it & not change sectors?

I started as a funds manager about 10 yrs ago. It was boring and there was a glass ceiling for a YBM. Quickly left that alone.@So-Chi

Beside forex, what other products do you trade with on a daily basis? Also, how was your experience in the IM field all together while being Black?I started as a funds manager about 10 yrs ago. It was boring and there was a glass ceiling for a YBM. Quickly left that alone.
Now I daytrade/intraday trade on good days I can make $1k on bad days I can lose $6k(due to how I trade and risk management).
It honestly has 0 barriers to entry, all you need is $10, a broker and a basic understanding of forex.
