Folks ignoring to word "unneccessarily" in my post
:yeshrug:

Not ignoring it, it's just makes absolutely no sense to reference the lowest common denominator. Obviously the people that are into hunting are going to be responsible hunters, not illegal or reckless.
Dam this shyt is more detailed than I thought:gucci:

Yeah .There are multiple reasons you can't and shouldn't bait. But mainly because you'll throw off the natural balance of things. There are certain times a year when there is an abundance of food and a shortage. Naturally deers stomachs grow and shrink and during winter digestion slows down so if all of a sudden there is a spike in food the deer will over eat and they'll end up dying in mass. They rest in certain spots, drink in certain spots, eat in certain spots. While your out in the woods it's important not to disturb the natural habitat. Remember you're visiting, they live there.

Bow hunting is dope. But you need to spend some much time practicing. The good part is that it is silent so you can take more than one shot, but it's tough.

Yeah basic biology on the animal you're hunting but mainly local. You have to go to the areas and see what's out there, see what your local game is eating, see what the conditions are like in your area. shyt is different everywhere .

shyts wild but interesting. You'll know what it looks like when a deer has sharpened it's antlers on a tree. Or when a squirrel has been cutting it's teeth. All animals have these identifiable traits. Once you learn them as well as learn the plants and different types of trees you'll be a better hunter and more in tune with nature.

Just go out hiking/scouting .take a bunch of pictures of flowers, plants, trees, take them back home and use Google to identify them. Everything has a purpose, acorns, pine cones, berries, flowers...

Look for trails that are shaped like them things that people walk thru in weddings but naturally made out of vines and stuff , they are maybe about 4.5ft tall or so. Practice looking for them now. Follow them. Deer dont seem to make new paths if there is reliable food.

Right. They are creatures of habit like we are. They usually eat at the same time everyday and the probably bed in the same spots. Scout the location maybe a week before preferably when there was minimal moonlight the night before to find trails water supply etc. Best to go at dawn or dusk because deer usually rest during the day.

Watching hunting videos is relaxing as hell, was watching a squirrel hunting video, the sounds of the woods, the whisper tone of the hunter speaking :dame: So calming.

Today's the first day for squirrel hunting. I'm tempted to go sometime soon .I like to wait until it's colder.

This is what happens when you use a varmint tip instead of a game tip.

Dam I lowkey got a newfound respect for hunters:ehh:

That get intune with nature shyt stuck out to me. I’m sure the ancestors in Africa felt like they were one with nature as well as the Native Americans. A good hunter seems like one who respects nature and doesnt abuse it (poachers)
