Never really fukked with Dayton. Never had the need to go there. Weather wise, you’re gonna get all 4 seasons. Hot summers, cold winters. Other than that i couldn’t tell you much about the city.

Have fam there. The actual city of Dayton is depressing compared to the 90s.

A lot of businesses left. No movie theaters, malls; a lot of big box stores bounced as well. I may have misread, but I think their hospital just closed as well.

I'd say look into one of surrounding cities. Centerville, Miamisburg, Fairborn, Kettering, Beavercreek, etc.

My wife got fam in the DYT.

I spent some yrs in Columbus. Easy access to both on I-70. The Columbus metro has grown quite a bit since I moved there in 03.
