Don’t play games. She doesn’t need her cervix anymore. Tell them cut it out. As long as it’s early and hasn’t metastasized that’s the cure.

Wasting time with secondary treatments is risky. Unless they get every single last cell you run the risk of turning from a local issue into a federal martial law situation

Edit: ok just read it where it metastasized. That’s not a great outcome. Good luck fighting it, but please temper your expectations…dont let her suffer more than she needs to. Hospice/palliative isn’t the conclusion anyone wants but it makes the process much more humane in many cases

Because I'm still learning the language around this, help me out. Do you say its "metastasized" because its spreading? She hasn't used that word but she did say it is spreading...

Not cervical BUT I have a lot of family and close ones who’ve had cancer. I think my aunt may have had something “down there” (not bashful I just don’t remember where it was) and had a hysterectomy. Maybe be prepared to take your daughter in. From any and everyone I know who’s gone through cancer, it’s a shyt show on your body and wellness and energy for a long time, both the disease and radiation treatments.

I hope she recovers, but I hope you can be supportive and likely prep yourself to possibly be a default/primary parent at minimum, even if for just a period of time.

Yes. I’d need more details from you but usually that verbiage of spreading means the cancer has left its original site (the cervix in this scenario) and gone to other parts of the body. That would make it a stage 4 cancer.

It could also mean, it’s still all in the cervix it just got bigger. This is an infinitely better scenario. Cut out the entire organ and be done with it.
