I just bought Here Comes The Cowboy
A lot of these songs sound the same

I liked Salad Days and 2 a bit more than his last two releases. Here comes the Cowboy has some nice songs but I agree the songs all blend together not too much of a standout didn’t hit me like the first time I heard his song “Joe Buck” or “Chamber of Reflection”.

I love the riff at the beginning as well as the instrumental but when he starts singing...

I often rewind the beginning just to hear that part.

I dont have the patience to listen to the entire salad days album
