I just got my nephew a 2000 accord coupe V6, I got the engine and tranny replaced. Thing turns on like the rising sun.
Question for the Accord fans in here. I'm in the market for a used car, and I spotted an 02 Accord for 3200. Shyt looks in largely pristine condition, seller says they've done regular maintenance, and have records of all procedures, basically nothing's wrong with it. However, it's got 255K miles on it
Now, from what I understand of Hondas, so long as you somewhat give a shyt about your car, it'll run damn near forever, but that mileage number (which the seller says is mostly highway miles) is fukkin astronomical, even for a Honda. This car is supposed to be a place-holder until I can stack up and really get what I want, but I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off so if it lasts longer then it lasts longer
Anyway, I kind of want to look into it. Thoughts? Advice?or

the hell do you live those are rent to own pricesI had a 99 Accord dead to rights but I couldn't scrounge up the cash before the breh sold it to someone else.
Trying again with an 02 Accord. 140K miles () but asking 3K.

that's lowkey gouging my manYou go with the options provided to you in a given scenario, breh. Doesn't seem that high of a price to me, though. Especially compared to what similar models with similar mileage figures are said to be worth.

Brehs. Be VERY careful with 02-07 Accords on the market, especially the V6s. The transmissions are no fukking good and bite the dust from 100k-140k.
Also if it isn't garage kept the paint is going to eat shyt (if it hasn't already).
you need to cruise them cash car lots playa that is your best bet in 2006 i copped a 98 park avenue with 93k miles leather seats power everything for 1500 you just have to be patient. Then educate me on the matter, then, breh.
Yea I hear all Honda v6 have Tranny issues, I was gonna buy a 04 or 05 cash, but ended up just getting a new Camry SE and using the Honda money as a down payment.
It was just an issue with the 02-07's (an overheating issue), that they fixed with the 08-12's (big issue with those is the excessive fuel consumption and brake wear). '13 body style is still really new, haven't heard anything bad about those yet.Can anyone elaborate on this?
Im looking at a 2013 Honda accord with a v6, but it DOESNT have CVT like the 4 cylinder does. I thought this was only an issue with the 08/09s?
@GinaThatAintNoGotDamnPuppy, what say you, I think youre somewhat of a gear head.
