She keeps skipping steps, which is classic nepo behavior. She takes a small step forward and assumes she's arrived. I had to look up that theory the Comms dude told Whitney to Google after he got fired, but it was basically that dumb people tend to be the most confident because they don't know how much they don't know. It was hilarious how quickly he was able to peg Yas to a tee in that sense. His only misstep is thinking Whitney isn't playing a completely different "game" altogether.

She’s too dumb to realize that assistant most likely told Whitney what happened, or at least hinted, and he put her with Yaz so that she can keep tabs on her and report everything DIRECTLY TO THE CEO.

I read as her plan the whole time. Yas tried to gaslight her into thinking she and Henry didn't abuse her but it was Jim that did, then tried to play friends with her. But Hayley knows Yas was the one with power in the room in Vienna ("felt like I was sucking your dikk"). All the little manipulations Yas attempted only worked because Hayley let her think they were. Hayley is just as power hungry as everyone else we've met in the show. Yas fell for it and activated her trap card (shug).

It's a bunch of cacs talking about how much they hate Harper and how underestimated Yas is. I couldn't believe it. People with straight faces, arguing that Yas made a good deal by letting dude post his Nazi views in a reputable newspaper. I'm like, what show are y'all watching? They go out of their way to overexplain to us that Yas is out of her depth. Every time she speaks, the camera pans to someone frowning, and people think she has moxy and shyt. Man I hate this new generation of TV/movie writers. They just spontaneously put some freaky shyt in there that has nothing to do with the plot; doesn't move the plot forward. Like....why do you have the girl sitting at the breakfast table drinking her husband's semen from a vial? What does that have to do with the plot?

It's like the writers are a bunch of porn-obsessed losers who managed to land a legitimate job writing a TV show. (probably due to nepotism or being from 'that' tribe of people) It's all mindless depravity, Howard Stern-esque shock value to get people to watch the show. That other HBO show has a similar problem (the one with Zendaya). It feels like a crutch to make up for the poor quality writing.

I have no doubt in my mind that Sally been playing Johnny from jump as well. Whitney is really the worst villain we've seen in a minute. This is some goat-level puppeteering. He definitely had Johnny killed with them drugs too. Now I wonder what that means for Harper going forward cause shes not going to stop this short.
