Native Americans are Latinos now. Arawaks lived in the Mississippi Delta y’all. This woman is dumb af. It now makes sense why a segment of Latinos are even running from that label.
The Aztecs, Incas and Mayans were not native Americans. They didn't even speak the same language nor share the same culture. Matterfact, natives in Canada or Nebraska don't even look Mexican. That shyt irritating.

:what:
she's listing out a bunch of injustices....
she related jim crow to apartheid....
the issue about natives and latinos was addressed as a separate injustice...
these divisive twitter accounts are cointelpro inspired

Can’t watch videos right now, what did she actually say?

Is the OP completely misrepresenting her?

@Supper can cosign me when I say there is a segment of Latinos who ACTUALLY try and take credit for the Civil rights movement and try and rewrite our history.

Anyways I never liked this Rican bytch. She sneaky like most them. Of course the HL worships her lol.

Them mfs think this case of a mexican/puerto rican family in Anaheim CA was instrumental in the Civil rights movement because it came before Brown vs Board. :mjlol:
Mendez v. Westminster - Wikipedia
Sylvia Mendez - Wikipedia

When really their case wasn't one about civil rights at all, cuz they were arguing Mexicans/Hispanics were considered 'white' and therefore should be able to attended white schools. They were fighting to UPHOLD racial segregation, but only that hispanics should be aloud to sit at the white table cuz they were 'white' too. Unlike actual aados civil rights activist who were fighting against racial discrimination and segregation all together.

Furthermore this case on set a state wide, not nationwide, precedent. Gaines vs Canada was a very similar case that happened 9 years earlier. Neither were cases that had nation wide effect, though like the Brown vs Board case.

Them mfs are so desperate to write themselves into our history.

She is wrong about that last part. AOC has been interviewed Coates at a MLK Day event. At the timestamped portion of this video, they talk about reparations. She tries to brush aside slavery and talk about how reparations should be for "African Americans, Mexican Americans, Puerto Rican Americans" who were victims of redlining and New Deal restrictions. Coates DOES NOT check on it, either.
