The most rabid bunch of them, the evangelicals (Insiders call them ''The Family'') are one of if not the most powerful base of American politics and unfortunately these old idiots believe the establishment of the nation of Israel in 1948 according to their interpretation of the Bible was a prerequisite for the apocalypse. For evangelicals like them, the Bible was not just the story of God’s involvement in the past or a guide for righteous living in the present. It also served as God’s blueprint for the future. They believe that the sacred scriptures, and the book of Revelation in particular, foretold a day when Jesus would return to earth to obliterate evil and offer his followers a prized place in God’s kingdom. They collectively clamor for this day to arrive. They are fukking morons.

THATS WHY AMERICA REALLY SUPPORTS ISREAL. Isreal is fully aware of this and exploits AMerican stupidy at every turn. Believe it or not. shyt has nothing to do with regional influence. AMerica has bases in many other places in the middle east including Saudi Arabia,Bahrain,Jordan, Qatar, fukking everywhere, so they generally DO NOT NEED any other Nations help in projecting power over there. You're right in that America has bases in other Middle East countries but again, Israel is actually America, breh. They might as well be a US state or territory. America supports Israel and vice versa. The ONLY time Israel got off brand with America was during the Obama years and that was cause of racism (which was actually on brand with America when you think about it).

But you'd be a fool to think the occupants of the white house aren't getting more out of this deal than a supposed link to the holy land.
