Its very simple. Any group that wants to list itself as a news organization is required to list its sources.

News is meant to be a form of education. Imagine going to school and your teacher is telling you that actually there weren't slaves and black people were paid well for their labor. If you ask the teacher says "people said that" and when you ask who they say "don't worry about it" would you trust that teacher?

If the statements and claims being made are not verifiable there should be consequences. Likewise with advertising. You can't come out with an ad saying "this product will cure your cancer" without providing ANY verifiable proof.

Cacs got whipped up into a frenzy talmbout some damn voter fraud with zero reliable sources to prove it.
Does regulation define what sources means? Because outlets like Fox News cites conspiracy theorists and republican POS as sources

Which most likely would come from a moderate. Radicals on both sides are full of shyt.
Nah what most consider radicals on the left are proposing ideas that would help everybody in this nation.

Also a lot of folks who consider themselves moderates just aren’t that smart and think the truth has to be in the middle just because:mjlol:. I’m not saying this is you :yeshrug:

People are saying, "This will lead to........something horrible!"

But back off that speculation for a moment and ask, what will the status quo lead to? Because the status quo is that 40% of the country will just automatically believe whatever fukking disinformation one set of extremists feeds them, no matter what the truth or evidence is. What is your plan to deal with that? Forget for a moment whatever you don't like about AOC's statement. How are you planning on going forward?

Right now 40% of the country believes the election was rigged and Trump really won....even though Trump has not only lost every recount and every court case, but has been ridiculed by the Republican election officials in charge of the states with the closest results. Some of the most prominent Republican Senators have openly said that the idea that the election was rigged is a joke and even their fellow Republican Congressmen don't really believe it. And yet 40% of the public STILL doesn't give up the idea that the election was rigged, solely because Trump, Fox News, OANN, Newsmax, and their online ecosystem insisted it was true against all available evidence.

Let's say tomorrow, those same people decide to tell those 40% that not only was the election rigged, but Black people are the ones who rigged it. What's the next move?

Heaven on Earth
Ideas like free health care and free college would help everyone. Things that conservatives consider evil and moderates think cost to much
I agree with Healthcare. But as far as college goes, prices should be more reasonable. But anything that’s free, automatically looses its value.
