She's part of a legislature. If she's for there for show and to serve one term, she can do whatever she wants to do. If she has any desire to get legislation that she proposes or supports to advance forward, she has to compromise sometimes.

It's amazing how a lot of people don't realize how political game works until they become a part of it. She's not going to make it in the political world as long as she isn't willing to play the game to get where she wants to go.
