Public Transportation :hhh:. I hated that shyt. Had to leave the house 1 hour early just to catch the bus. Took 45 mins to get to work with all them stops. When I got my car shyt took 15 minutes. Plus all the fukkery that went on at my train station. Matter fact take a look at these vids, This was the station I use to go to

Ohh shyt, that’s Addison Rd Metro isn’t it breh? :pachaha:

Miami? Vegas? SD?

Normally go to Miami and been to Vegas once. I guess the Miami residence might have missed the memo?
Shiiiiiiiiiit, you def need a car in Miami if you can afford to buy one. Matter of fact anywhere in Florida....nothing like sitting at the bus stop waiting for 30-45 mins in 106 degree weather with humidity sweating to death, then the weather shifts where you are drenched by torrential rain and clapped by lightning.

And for the record the OP is talking mainly about 4 out of 5 boroughs.

Could care less what anyone has to say there is no way I’d depend on transportation living in Staten Island. But I guess I have no choice if I work in Manhattan which would require me to pay double the fare to use an express bus. Comfy and fast but $6.50 one way :scust:

Unless I live directly next to the Ferry or the last stop of the bus that goes over the Verrazano bridge lol

It's not like everyone in Staten Island works in Manhattan. Living and working on the North Sore would be fine without a car probably

True but the express buses are probably the most busy there.most of the complaints for express buses comes from them. Also Staten Islanders have more cars in Manhattan parking garages than any borough. (I use to work at the DOT and we found out this data)

Staten Island instead of low wage job and city jobs doesn’t look like it has a wide of employment centers like Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens or even the Bronx.

Most career established people I know there unless they work at a school or some agency stationed there they are usually on an express bus or Ferry boat out of there!

100% agreed. Driving is the most overrated way to get from point A to point B in a big city.

Here in New York people will complain about subway delays which are normally a few minutes top but will be ok with being delayed 30-40 minutes on a highway :scust:

I really like my car for road trip travels, going to the burbs/Far parts of the city or driving at night! Those my are my driving benefits and with that being said I’m starting to use and love MegaBus

What's crazy to me is how much drinking driving is a thing outside of NYC. I mean, plenty of people in the outer boroughs do it, but it doesn't seem to be nearly as much of a thing as in sprawl cities or straight up suburban areas.

I hear clubs in the South have parking lots and shyt

Yea they do in Atlanta for sure. You right about the drinking cause that’s a thing in Miami and when I went to Vegas I heard people driving drunk down the strip is common place! But it doesn’t surprise me tho.
