Apart from New York.....can you share what cities you don't require a car?

Yea they do in Atlanta for sure. You right about the drinking cause that’s a thing in Miami and when I went to Vegas I heard people driving drunk down the strip is common place! But it doesn’t surprise me tho.

It's probably a thing in the entire country.

I know quite a few people who do that in NYC and I just think why?? You're blessed with the most non-driver nightlife scene in the country and you still do that?

I can only imagine in rural areas with zero public transportation and zero taxi/uber service. Even like 1 hour from New Orleans I noticed there was zero uber service available. I know damn well most friend groups don't have designated drivers.

I’m just too scared of the consequences to even drive drunk.

Maybe if you live and work off of a trolley line, even then if you want to see everything in the city you definitely need a car. The bus is TRASH, a 10 min trip in a car on the freeway will take you 1hr and 30 min.

Not to mention the trolley doesn’t and may never reach it to the airport.

im just ranting don’t mind me

I live in downtown San Diego, and don't drive, I don't have a commute to work. I walk everywhere in the area, mostly, and use Lyft to get anywhere else. I occasionally take the trolley or bus, it is so inefficient in SD, I don't use it very often anymore.

I never learned how to drive, and have never owned a car, though it isn't a struggle financially to obtain one. I just don't care to at this point.

I took 45 Lyfts last month, and was offered some sort of flat rate $299 for 30 $15 dollar rides/month. I'd like to get that number down, a little, as the cost is like $400.

Driving is so overrated. The average person is an idiot so put them behind the wheel and what do you get?
The shyt you can see on the road is :snoop:

Clearly running red lights :why:

Changing lanes despite missing the proper opportunity with NO ONE making you miss it :what:

Stop signs that are apparently invisible :skip:

People turning into Speed Racer just to hit the red light the same time you do :gucci:

It's ridiculous

How about the drivers that get so offended when you wave to ask them if you can go in front during traffic. They get offended as if they won’t be in the same spot as you for the next 30 minutes :mjlol:

know nikkas just saying shyt when they say you dont need a whip in Raleigh, NC :pachaha::pachaha::deadrose::dead:
Raleigh has a bus system, does it not? Its parts of NYC the subway doesn't reach and there's only buses as the only way of getting around if you don't have a car.

I looked into living in Raleigh and that would be my main way of getting around is riding the bus.
