Wrong. 9 is overrated, garbage ass cast and forgettable combat system. 8 had an incredible OST and world.
I prefer 9 over all the other PS1 Final Fantasies. It helped that the main character was not Cloud or Squall. The whole emo loner thing was played out and Zidane was a breath of fresh air for the series.

Honestly, 10 aged really well. Graphics still look great and it has the best gameplay out of all the FF I've played so far sans the Remake. The remaster was great and all it needs is a speed up and no random encounters cheat.

Only reason 7 was so popular is because Cloud looks like a Super Sayain which was what people were hyped about in the 90s

The environment, character models, attacks were not exciting at all compared to the ones in 6,7,8, and 10.
And don’t give me that face. Y’all brought the 8 ball into this. You could have been excited for y’all lil remaster and we would have been excited for you. But nOoOoO, y’all had to hate unprovoked. Vagrant story was more exciting than this fern gully ass drivel.

My issue with 9 is there wasn't anything particular with the progression. FF8s junction system and FF7s materia were flawed but interesting ways to progress ur characters.
