This is what happens when people stop reading actual books, stop thinking about ideas, and start describing/identifying/etc fictional characters with their own modern views and catchphrases. Of course Killmonger isn't a good dude...he's a villain. We know this. But even beyond this, we've reached a point where people seem legitimately offended or angry when any character displays behavior or views they don't like. There are a lot of people (online) who seem incapable to separating fiction from their moral or political beliefs. We don't analyze or truly critique art anymore. It's all just emotional responses based on how many cultural buttons are being pushed.
I used to wonder how these people would deal with a film like Taxi Driver today...and then Joker came out and kinda gave a preview of it.
Honestly I think Harry Potter, Beyonce, and Marvel shyt are the biggest drivers of this shyt tier logic. People who sat around only reading Harry Potter as children, and now as adults want to write half assed talking pieces on the social/economic dynamics of a children's book. Or these writers who essentially have talking pieces ready to go the minute Beyonce makes some simplistic haiku in a song. Or these social media losers who want us to know that Tony Starks shouldn't exist because billionaires shouldn't exist. Jesus christ....
