Yeah. Because throwing the King of Wakanda off of a waterfall, gutting Zuri aka “Uncle James”, putting a few slugs in that Cac’s back, and Killing his partner to use as a bargaining chip was so respectful of men.
And then she had the nerve as a Black woman to mention the Cac bytch in the beginning, like she didn’t racially profile and have security watching him in the museum.:mindblown:

Imagine using these dumb talking points in real life.

Bird brain: I can't believe hitler would kill all those jewish women/girls, handicapped women/girls and gypsy women/girls in concentration camps.

Eveyone else: Hitler was pure evil he hated anyone in his way and tried to kill everyone who wasn't aryan. He also killed millions of jewish men/boys, handicapped men/boys and gypsy men/boys in concentration camps.

Bird brain: So Hitler killing millions of men and boys is excuse for his misogyny.

Everyone else: :gucci:

This heffa stupid. Killmonger also said he wanted to seek revenge on everyone in the world who has harmed black people. And stated he would crush anyone in his way that prevented him from doing so.

This is what happens when people stop reading actual books, stop thinking about ideas, and start describing/identifying/etc fictional characters with their own modern views and catchphrases. Of course Killmonger isn't a good dude...he's a villain. We know this. But even beyond this, we've reached a point where people seem legitimately offended or angry when any character displays behavior or views they don't like. There are a lot of people (online) who seem incapable to separating fiction from their moral or political beliefs. We don't analyze or truly critique art anymore. It's all just emotional responses based on how many cultural buttons are being pushed.

I used to wonder how these people would deal with a film like Taxi Driver today...and then Joker came out and kinda gave a preview of it.

Honestly I think Harry Potter, Beyonce, and Marvel shyt are the biggest drivers of this shyt tier logic. People who sat around only reading Harry Potter as children, and now as adults want to write half assed talking pieces on the social/economic dynamics of a children's book. Or these writers who essentially have talking pieces ready to go the minute Beyonce makes some simplistic haiku in a song. Or these social media losers who want us to know that Tony Starks shouldn't exist because billionaires shouldn't exist. Jesus christ....
:hhh:

Breh its because of this new generation of clowns. Society brought them up thinking everything on their mind needs to come out their clown ass mouths.

And two that they are so special and that their opinions matter. When actually they are no different than most folks "average people". So now you have a generation of weirdos who think they are special and if the world doesn't kiss them on their crusty feet and give them a trophy for taking a daily shyt....then the world needs to be burned down.

 She clapped back tho :troll:

Knew this was coming lmao. People root for villains all the time...doesn't mean they cosign everything, namely the bad shyt. I haven't seen Black Panther (only Marvel film I've seen is the first Iron Man lmao) but from I've read/heard, it's not hard to see why people identify with a lot of aspects of Killmonger. Yet even those people don't cosign everything he did, namely whatever his "bad guy plan to kill people/change the world" was.

People identify with Tony Montana lmao. Not him selling drugs to the community...but him coming from nothing, dealing police fukkery, and becoming something. That's a normal reaction to media. I doubt anyone who likes Killmonger likes him because he allegedly treated women like shyt lmao.

Back to READING though...I remember when I first read Huck Finn as a kid. The main character is a POS outright racist...yet by the end of the book you not only appreciate him, you realize his attitudes and views on race are evolving. I could have simply said "wow this book is about a racist, it's problematic" and threw it in the trash after 10 pages. And missed the entire point of the novel. If you consume art to determine whether the characters agree with you, you lawst. Some of the best novels I've read, from Huck Finn to Blood Meridian, feature some truly loathsome characters.

Great, great post and said a lot better than how I put it. The bolded part is especially big facts. What these wokettes fail to realize is that stories are meant to portray flawed characters. People in real life are certainly flawed, so stories should reflect that. Also when you're looking at a work of art through this tiny little filter, you're losing all of the context and nuance of that work. Getting offended over how a fictional character behaves just seems pointless.

Right a dessertation on a random Twitter users opinion on a fictional character brehs.

Complete lack of testosterone, this is what happens when males have mental vaginas.
