I don’t think it is that unpopular. That’s why a lot of men (myself included) end up wifing younger women. They haven’t become jaded or bitter yet.

There are good men out there that appreciate a ride or die, but I’d be lying if I said they were in abundance.

The thing with that is it doesn't last long at all.

You'll get a month of that type of support when you're in the gutter. Like truly on your lowest of the low.

but because they're comparing you to people who've figured shyt out by one mean or another, They don't understand how long it takes to get on your square so they start to resent you.

This is why marriages fail. It's a marathon, not a sprint. It takes a long time to make shyt work. But that's just my take

There aren't an abundance of qualified "men" in the first place.

The society is not interested in creating qualified, capable and confident men. The amount of work that that requires isn't tenable for most.

And those men are not going to feed the current socioeconomic paradigm. They're going to challenge it.

This is the sentiment I see as well. It’s basically, don’t build with a man, because he’ll give it all to the next bytch. Men like the challenge of the demanding women.
