The law is very clear that when you're out in public, anyone can photograph you without permission.

Suppose he just took a picture of a man sitting on a bench. Literally nobody would have a problem with it.

But because it's a girl's ass (which, by the way, he was complimenting) it's a problem that needs permission?

I can grant you that it's a matter of taste, but the problem is that it becomes too subjective.
Either we grant that courtesy to everyone or no one. And the fact that no would would question a photo of a man on a bench, means I throw out any consideration at having to ask for permission to take a picture of a girl's ass.

Why must it be one or the other? There has to be a middle ground.... While this photo might be entertaining (one of the reasons why a man on a bench wouldn't be posted) it is also tacky to exploit the situation...

I have no sympathy because she went in public looking like that... But it is still tasteless in Bubles part

It has to be one or the other because photography by nature lends itself to A LOT of photos of the public.

You're arguing taste.
What I'm saying is...it doesn't matter whether you LIKE a photo's subject matter or not. You either need permission for all of it, or none of it.
