AMD is caking... Both current gen consoles and now the new Macs. Are Intel CPUs that prohibitively expensive that electronics makers are going??
AMD even helped make the Wii U graphics chip. They eating off ALL consoles.

Well they have retina displays on the mbp line, just not the MacBook air yet

5k
but it cost more than my carshyt would burn a hole into your desk and start a fukkin fire playing GTA V on that shytOnly thing it will struggle with is gaming...yeah that's not going to roll @ 5K

wouldn't it be more workspace for those that do graphic design and such?5k is a bit overkill, no?
Yeah, I guess so, but the screen size is too small and the gpu is not gonna be able to handle advanced graphic design work that involves rendering and shyt.wouldn't it be more workspace for those that do graphic design and such?
well that rendering doesn't need to be real time, or full screen. and that's kinda the thing where if you're working on 'HD' content, you're probably gonna want a display that can fit that content comfortably into a windowYeah, I guess so, but the screen size is too small and the gpu is not gonna be able to handle advanced graphic design work that involves rendering and shyt.
I don't know many graphic designers that are gonna work off an iMac, but maybe. this just seems like a marketing ploy by apple for consumers, not professionals. The iMac has always been for consumers. Pros get Mac towers or MacBook pros.well that rendering doesn't need to be real time, or full screen. and that's kinda the thing where if you're working on 'HD' content, you're probably gonna want a display that can fit that content comfortably into a window
yeah, I can't really speak on all those that will buy this $2500 machine to browse the internet and listen to itunesI don't know many graphic designers that are gonna work off an iMac, but maybe. this just seems like a marketing ploy by apple for consumers, not professionals. Now if they just released the 5k monitor, instead of bundling it, that would make more sense. You could pair it with a Mac tower
