AMD is caking... Both current gen consoles and now the new Macs. Are Intel CPUs that prohibitively expensive that electronics makers are going??

the concept of a Desktop Computer is antiquated for 9/10 peoples needs. especially with everything else we own from our TVs, to refreigerators and watches becoming computerizes.
If your not editing footage or doing graphic design who really needs to be sitting at a desk at home using a mouse?

normally i shyt on apple, but i will be damned if that isnt a decent price considering the quality of the monitor.

Yeah, I guess so, but the screen size is too small and the gpu is not gonna be able to handle advanced graphic design work that involves rendering and shyt.
well that rendering doesn't need to be real time, or full screen. and that's kinda the thing where if you're working on 'HD' content, you're probably gonna want a display that can fit that content comfortably into a window
I don't know many graphic designers that are gonna work off an iMac, but maybe. this just seems like a marketing ploy by apple for consumers, not professionals. The iMac has always been for consumers. Pros get Mac towers or MacBook pros.
Now if they just released the 5k monitor, instead of bundling it, that would make more sense. You could pair it with a Mac tower
yeah, I can't really speak on all those that will buy this $2500 machine to browse the internet and listen to itunes
